  1. How much do listings cost?
  • R499 for a single posting.
  • R1399 for a 3 jobs posting.
  • R9999 for unlimited job postings for an entire year (12 months).
  • Volunteer listings are free.
  • Price includes VAT
  1. Do you offer a discount for non-profits and cause-related organizations?

Hopefully, we’ve carefully priced our services to ensure they are accessible and provide great value to organizations of all types. However, if you have any special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@jobaround.co.za

 

  1. What’s the difference between full time, part time, contract, freelance, temporary and internship?

 These terms can mean different things to different organizations so for the purposes of this site; here are the most recognized descriptions:

Full time – Salaried employee, typically 35 – 40 hours per week, work generally takes place in employer’s place of business

Part-time – Salaried or hourly paid employee, less than standard 35 – 40 hours per week

Contract – Term position typically filled at employer’s location

Freelance – Outsourced, short-term work

Temporary/Casual – Occasional, seasonal, on-call or event-site work

RFP – Request for Proposal

Internship – On-the-job training, may or may not be paid

Volunteer – Unpaid position

 

  1. How long will my listing be online?

30 days is the default after which the posting will automatically expire. When posting your job you will have the opportunity to set your listing to expire in less than 30 days.  You may also end your listing at any time prior to the expiration date should the position be filled or sufficient responses received.

 

  1. Can I remove my listing before 30 days or the chosen expiry date?

Yes absolutely. If you have achieved the desired response or better yet have found exactly the right candidate, you may end your listing once signed in.

 

  1. Can I set my response closing date prior to 30 days?

Yes certainly. Positions are posted for 30 days or for the number of days you choose when posting; whichever comes first.

 

  1. How do I edit my listing?

Simply sign in to your account and edit your job. If you require assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us at support@jobaround.co.za and we’ll be pleased to help.

 

  1. Will I receive an invoice?

The email you will receive as confirmation of your payment doubles as an invoice. If you are in need of something different, please feel free to contact us at support@jobaround.co.za and we’ll be happy to assist.

 

  1. Can I be invoiced and pay by cheque instead of credit card?

  1. What kind of response should I expect from my listing?

Our focus is quality, not quantity. Some employers may receive many applicants, while others with more specialized requirements may receive only a few. To maximize your success, ensure your posting includes not only a thorough job description but also the benefits of working with your organization.

 

  1. What if my listing expires and I still haven’t found the right candidate?

Subscribers may relist their job once signed in.

Employers who purchased single job listing can also easily relist for an additional one-time listing fee.

 

  1. What if I am not satisfied with the services?

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you’re not happy with the results you receive from your listing we’ll offer you a new listing or provide a prompt and courteous refund. Please contact us at support@jobaround.co.za

 

Job Seekers

  1. What is Jobaround Athletes?

Jobaround Athletes is a website dedicated exclusively to publishing jobs for any industry especially the sport/fitness and health industry. Recruiters and employers pay to advertise their vacancies; job seekers can then quickly search through new jobs that appear every day on the site and apply for any that look suitable.

 

  1. Which sectors of the fitness/health industry are included?

Posted jobs will include all related jobs in any sector for any industry. These will include all levels from entry level to senior positions and all job titles and descriptions.

 

  1. Am I required to sign up for an account to apply for jobs?

You can’t apply for jobs without an account however signing up is free and once you have an account you can receive job alerts and add your CV.

 

  1. How do I apply for a job?

Every job posting will include directions for application and this may differ from one to the next. By following the posted directions you will ensure your submission is received.

 

  1. Will I receive a confirmation that my application has been received?

Once you apply for a position, it is the responsibility of the employer to respond.

 

  1. How do I follow up once I have replied to a job posting?

Please follow the directions indicated in the job posting. If the employer has provided their contact details when advertising the vacancy, they will be displayed within the post. Unfortunately, it is not possible for Jobaround Athletes to follow up for job applicants.

 

  1. I have not had a response to my application. How can I follow up?

We encourage the employers who post positions on our site to provide a response to all job applications. If you have recently applied for a job vacancy and have not heard back, you may wish to contact the employer directly for an update. Unfortunately, it is not possible for Jobaround Athletes to follow up for job applicants.
